Instead, you can get paid by companies to leave positive reviews and highlight products on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or other social channels. The higher your profile, the more of an impact your brand recommendation will make… And the more you’ll make with product placement. So long as your fans aren’t turned off by this advertising, affiliate marketing is one way to have your cake and eat it, too.

It’s not easy to convert a prospect into a customer. It is, however, relatively easy to convert your prospects into list subscribers. For many businesses, the email list – which prospects land on by volunteering their contact info in exchange for content – is the best asset they have. By sending a single email, you could make thousands of dollars in one day.

This may sound cliché, but my honest advice is to go for it when considering starting a new business venture, despite the fear it may not work out. One needs to adopt the mindset that the whole journey is a big experiment and that “failure” is not an option, because ultimately it is learning and growth that we will get. Focusing on the rewards instead of the fear is the real key to success. - Noor Hibbert, This Is Your Dream LTD
1) Hire exceptional people, make sure they feel valued and can work as a team. 2) Work to achieve synergy (energy and alignment). 3) Practice Kaizen (Japanese for “small improvement” and “better”) everyday focusing on getting a little bit better with the belief that over time outcomes become significant. 4) Focus on expands and set outcomes that are bold, passionate, measurable, written and positive. 5) Worry less about growth and more about quality and execution. When you take care of your customers and exceed their expectations, growth and opportunity follow. 6) Remember that success often comes to those who get in front of the inevitable.
If you’ve got a way with words and expertise in a niche, there are plenty of sites that will pay for articles and content you write. Think of the sites you read regularly. What can you contribute to them that would be interesting? Research your niche and then look for ways to pitch articles. Many sites will simply have a submission or contact link in the footer. To get started, check out my full guide to becoming a freelance writer on the side and then submit your articles to places like Instash, Listverse, TopTenz, A List Apart, International Living, FundsforWriters, and Textbroker.
The quote above comes from his article, 11 Terrific Twitter Profile Designs for Inspiration, where he emphasizes the importance of standing out. He states that “we work, play and create in a digital ecosystem that defines you by your image online,” so brands need to carefully craft what they are on their online platforms and leverage the online real estate. For example, a brand or professional can utilize a Twitter profile to announce a new product, highlight a hashtag, promote a webinar or market a new look.
You might have some established persons in your network, share your plans with them and seek guidance. There is nothing like learning from someone who has firsthand experience at what you are about to do or have begun doing. Seek advice from successful entrepreneurs, do your research, check case studies and base your decision on the vital knowledge that you gain out it.

2. Important distinction: Typing youtube into the browser bar is not the same thing as typing http://youtube.com. The first will get you a list of search results based on the search query “youtube”. The second will take you straight to the website. You’d be surprised how many times that confuses people who are just learning the basic internet marketing for beginners concepts.

Cohen says to start with an internal content audit and add metadata for SEO. Monitor your current analytics (which type of content attracts most traffic, on what platforms?) and what’s happening on your social media to get an idea of what your target audience is interested in right now. Once you have an idea of what kind of content will do best, gather content from across your organization and integrate content curation into your overall editorial calendar. Don’t forget to measure and track the results of your curated content.
In this job, consultants help clients to assess their email communication and marketing and improve it. They may also be engaged in creating and setting up email campaigns. In practical terms, it can mean advising the client on what words should be used to increase the response rate, and words that should be avoided so that an email and email newsletters are not perceived as spam. You can also give advice on how to write an effective subject line and structure the email in the correct way.

There are so many sites available on the web. Some of them look identical, some other aren't even worth a mention. Wonder why? That's always a good idea to learn from the example of the most impressive and successful web designs. There must be something in their designs that attract the target audiences and makes their websites stand out from the competition.

Now that you know who your target market is and have set goals, plan your budget accordingly. The good thing about online marketing is that you can be successful even when on a tight budget. A lot of platforms are available at no charge. However, sticking solely with free forms of online marketing might not be the best strategy for your company. Carefully determine what outlets are most necessary for your product and be willing to spend some money to get results.

The box subscription business has exploded. While it's nothing new, and it's been around for ages now, the overwhelming rise of the internet has breathed newfound life into this online business idea. What is a box subscription exactly? If you think back for a moment to one of the most viral box subscriptions businesses, you'll clearly recall the Dollar Shave Club.

The cornerstone of your affiliate business is about setting up a website that's focused on a specific niche. You research low competition keywords for that niche, with the aim of ranking on page one of Google for those keywords. People visiting your site then click on a referral link, and if they make a purchase at the destination store, then you get paid a commission. That's why some people call it “referral marketing”.

4. Build long-term relationships. Relationships matter. People do business with companies they know, like and trust. Furthermore, while it's tempting to stay on the hunt for new customers, your existing customers are your best source of repeat business and your most profitable customers. To win their loyalty, you must nurture a relationship with them.
I am friends with several small- and medium-size-business owners operating in service-providing industries. One of them, Lyuda Ksenych, CEO of H2H Movers, a moving company located in Chicago, attributes a large portion of their recent growth to small yet effective changes to the company’s online marketing efforts. Here are five online marketing tips, some of which can be done at no cost, that helped Ksenych’s business and can also help you thrive in competitive industries.
Test websites. Remote usability testing means getting paid to navigate a website for the first time and giving feedback to the website owner. Most tests take approximately 15 minutes, and you can get paid up to $10 for each test. A test involves performing a scenario on the client’s website and recording yourself doing it. For example, you might be asked to go through the process of selecting and purchasing an item on a retailer’s website.[1]
1. Locate your browser bar. It is the long white box at the top left of your screen that currently has some website in it. This bar will always display the url web page you are currently on. In this box you can either type a web address (like http://google.com) which will take you straight to that website… or you can type in a search query like “how to google something” and you will see a list of search results.
Sujan is a growth marketer and co-founder of the content marketing agency, Web Profits. He also runs MailShake, Narrow.io and jumps out of airplanes in his free time—but seriously, Sujan has some impressive marketing skills and he (unknowingly) taught me much of what I've learned about how to drive traffic to my website. Here's his best business advice for first-time entrepreneurs who want to start a business today:

Set yourself apart from the competition. There are thousands of companies trying to sell products on the Internet. Thus, you need to make your brand unforgettable. This begins with your website. Your domain name should be your company’s name if at all possible. If there are other companies online with names similar to yours, you may even want to consider changing your name to one that will not be easily confused with another product. Acquiring a domain name has a fee involved, but using a hosting service is very affordable even for the smallest budgets.

"The most painful mistake I see entrepreneurs make is launching before learning. For example, you may decide you want to launch a marketing consulting company, so you hastily make a website, content and reach out to people, but you haven’t yet figured out who your target clientele is. What people actually need help with or what you're specifically good at. So no one bites."
Occam’s Razor by Avinash Kaushik contains a whole host of blog posts on every aspect of Google Analytics. You’ll find in-depth how-to guides and information on a wide range of topics, including qualitative analysis, competitive intelligence analysis, analytics tips, web metrics and more. Author of two bestselling books (‘Web Analytics 2.0’ and ‘Web Analytics: An Hour a Day’), Avinash Kaushik is one of the world’s leading experts on Google Analytics – we’d take his advice.
Truly listen and empathize with your clients. Everyone is so interested in getting their own personal message across, that no one pauses for a moment to actually listen and hear the root of the problem or pain. Believe in listening 80% of the time, clarifying 10% of the time, and responding wholeheartedly and intentionally, is the remaining 10% of the time. - Stephynie Malik, ChiqueSpeak
Sir Richard Branson, one of the world’s most recognizable billionaires, and the founder of Virgin Group, has built an empire comprised of more than 400 companies including airlines, record stores, publishing organizations and he's even tackling commercial space travel. He's also the author of more than a dozen business books, including his latest (fantastic) autobiography, Finding My Virginity that shares from behind-the-scenes of the ups and downs throughout Branson's more than fifty year career as an entrepreneur. During his interview on 30 Days of Genius with CreativeLive, I got to hear his best business advice for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start a business of their own, first-hand:

I tend to be a competitive person, so it's helped me to turn my goal-setting into a competition with myself. While many people may not think they are competitive, you might be surprised once you create a competition that gives you something to beat. A good example is the 100-day challenge, often connected to fitness such as 100 days of planking or push-ups.

Shopify is a great example of the freemium model. By offering some applications for free, they get exposure for their whole business. Since the company was founded in 2004, they have acquired 30,000 customers, including Pixar and the Foo Fighters. Their revolutionary “build-a-business” competitions in the past have produced over $70,000,000 in revenue for over 14,000 entrants.
How much will you make? I think my best month with Google AdSense was almost $5,000 over the last ten years. That amazing month blew my mind since it was actually near the beginning of my blogging journey. When you go from making zero to $5,000 in a month, that will rock your world. For me, it also got me even more excited because I knew there were other ways to monetize.

You'll have a total of 2,160 points (worth £15) in your account so you can visit the 'rewards store' to choose which gift card you want, which you should do before the sale ends on Wed 24 Oct. The gift card will then arrive within 10 working days, either by post or via email in the case of voucher codes. You can also convert your earnings into PayPal cash but it costs more points (800 SB = £5 PayPal).

E-books represent about 20 percent of all book sales in the U.S. The good news is you don’t have to be a publisher with deep pockets to get in on the action. As a solo internet entrepreneur, you can sell ebooks directly from your own website. You can sell your own works or sell a public domain work. Simply upload it to your website (or seller account on Amazon) and start publicizing it on your social media platforms, on your email list, your blog, website, etc.
8. Know what your clients really want. The purpose of business is to bring your clients a greater benefit, a greater advantage and a greater result. But if you don't know what their ultimate endpoint should be, than how can you help them? Don't assume you know the answer. Study their actions and talk with them to find out how you can become their hero.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link. Cryptocurrency or digital currency is the next big thing in currency trading. It’s a digital asset that is used as a method to pay for things, that isn’t run by a government or institution. Bitcoin is the most well known digital currency and was trading at $200 per Bitcoin back in 2013. Now it is worth over $17k and is expected to be worth well over $1m in 2022.
Updating the content on your website gives search engines a reason to keep ranking your site. Having fresh and current content also keeps your potential and returning customers coming back.Search engines are constantly crawling sites. You already know that fresh content will keep them coming back for more but stagnant content could hurt your websites rankings. The more you change or add to your site, the better your chances of maintaining a higher search ranking.
Case studies: Nothing grabs as much attention as a personal story. In fact, there are media that specialize on posting case studies mainly because of their high engagement potential. If it also contains a unique strategy, a new approach or angle, it has really good chances of being accepted by a prestigious blog. Personally, I hate writing about something that I’ve already read/written about before, so that’s why I often go with this option.
We talked about drop shipping and how it works. But fulfillment by Amazon, (FBA) works in the opposite way. Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) lets you sell your products on Amazon. You can leverage this company’s popularity to get your products out there, and they’ll do the rest for you. Amazon will handle storage, pickup, packing, shipping, and even customer service!
Your buyer can choose from a variety of items to have the image printed on. Additionally, you can get into a print on demand business as the owner, or you can take advantage of this online business opportunity as a design contributor.

You can also earn money from your blog via AdSense, by offering subscription services to members and also selling your products via your blog.
SEO can admittedly be a complicated and time consuming process, however the time needs to be spent here to ensure your website is getting found. Your best bet is usually going to be spending a bit more of your budget and hiring the right people to do the proper research. At Ciplex, we stress the importance of not including keywords to simply rank your site, but using the terms your audience is looking for. That is what will get you the highest conversion rates.
Arianna is a co-founder of The Huffington Post, author of the recent New York Times best-seller The Sleep Revolution and recently stepped down as Editor-in-Chief of The Huffington Post to pursue her new wellness startup, Thrive Global, which will offer wellness trainings and workshops on stress reduction. Here's her business advice for entrepreneurs who want to start a business for the first time:

They don’t fit into the corporate environment: Entrepreneurs don’t often thrive in corporate environments. It’s often very restricting for their growth. They may dislike the lack of control they have in their role or the office politics. In general, you can spot an entrepreneur in a corporate environment as they’re usually trying to gain more control in their role and learning their coworkers responsibilities to better understand how everything fits together.
It doesn’t pay much, but if you’re a healthy person and want to make a bit of extra money online, the AchieveMint app will reward you for doing things like walking, tracking your food, or taking health surveys. Here are my recommendations for the Financial Industry.  In 2016 investors hope not to drop the ball by missing out on a big opportunity in one sector or hanging on too long in another. Here, we present 10 sectors to watch in the new year, with financial and industry authorities weighing in on the potentials, opportunities and pitfalls to consider. For budding entrepreneurs, with the business in a very nascent stage, it is often difficult to create a user base or a customer base. This is because you are fresh off the boat and not many people know about you. This is the time to leverage your personal network, seek leads, and ask for recommendations. There is nothing wrong in asking for help from friends and family. That’s how every successful business has grown out of! Your friends can refer your products or services to their friends, colleagues, peers, etc. and you will land your first set of clients or users.

What the entrepreneurship definition doesn’t tell you is that entrepreneurship is what people do to take their career and dreams into their hands and lead it in the direction of their own choice. It’s about building a life on your own terms. No bosses. No restricting schedules. And no one holding you back. Entrepreneurs are able to take the first step into making the world a better place, for everyone in it.

"The way we’ve gotten around that is to always work with somebody on a project before we start handing over significant equity stakes or large sums of money. If the trial project goes well, then talk about expanding the scope of the relationship. Sam Altman from Y-Combinator once said something to the equivalent of 'a bad hire in the first few employees can be detrimental to a startup.' I've really taken that to heart in my business."

Marketing Podcast with John Jantsch on Changes to Google Ads Google has recently made some drastic changes to their ads program—starting with a name change, from Google AdWords to Google Ads. Some of the changes are technical, like tweaks to the interface. Others represent fundamental shifts in the way Google views advertising. These will affect […]

Basically, you pick a profitable niche for your online business, and then you find an affiliate partner who has products available in that niche. Some of the most popular affiliate sites are Clickbank.com, Amazon.com, and CJ Affiliate by Conversant (formerly Commission Junction). Between them, they offer just about any digital information product (like ebooks, audio files, video files) or physical product you can think of. May big name companies and brands, like Wal-Mart, Home Depot, etc. run their affiliate programs through these third-party affiliate sites.

Navid is the world’s leading expert on producing profitable virtual summits. His media coverage includes Forbes, Entrepreneur, The Huffington Post, Business Insider and much more. His mission is to show entrepreneurs what's really working to build a profitable online business. Find out more about his courses, summits, and expertise on his website. For now, here's his business advice for first-time entrepreneurs who want to start a business:
Google is the most popular search engine hands down, and we’re obsessed with what they’re doing next. So it would make sense that we hear the news straight from the source. We simply can’t get enough of their Data & Measurement and Consumer Insights sections. Data & Measurement gives us insight into how customers experience our brand, and Consumer Insights helps us unlock shifts in consumer behavior so we can better engage our customers.
Like anything else in this world, you'll either need a lot of time or a lot of money. If you have both, then clearly, you're ahead of the game. But most people have more of the former rather than the latter. But considering that time is finite and we only have a certain amount of it, using your time wisely and managing your time properly is crucial to ensure your success.

If I have a blog that is getting 100,000 page views a month that means that I’m probably getting at least 50,000 people to the site (most blogs will do between 1.2 to 1.4 pages per session). That means I have to try and get some small percentage of those people to buy something from me if I really want to do well. If I can’t get them to buy something then (in some cases) I have ads running on the site that will make me money anyways.

One approach that has worked well for me over the years is to pinpoint the best minds in the industry and follow their every move. Listen to their podcasts, read their blogs, watch their YouTube videos, and keep up to date with their social posts. The key is to find a small group of trusted thought leaders who are renowned for breaking news, challenging the status quo, and turning up day after day with great content.
A fitness site can have numerous revenue streams. Create healthy eating plans and recipes and lock them away as premium content. Promote and sell a fitness training course, eBook, or a series of videos. Or advertise your own personal fitness services on your site. Topfithub is a good example of a fitness site with decent video content alongside product reviews.
There are so many websites out there. Some of them look alike, some don’t but heck why are we talking about them? Wanna know why? Because you would want to look at the successful ones and try to look like them. There must be something in their site’s design that attracts target market like no other. As my friend says “The best person to ask directions from is someone who’s already been there.”
Kit Needham: The hardest tech in my experience is apps. In the ten years that I've been here, only one app has been successful. They are relatively easy to build but getting market awareness and adoption is very, very difficult. Further, they aren't really solving big problems and if they are, they aren't sufficiently distinct or better from the other solutions that customers are using.
As marketers, we’re often forced to quickly become strong content creators. However, if your blog is relegated to free information that you use strictly for onboarding audience members into your funnel, then you’re limiting what your content can do for your business. Enter the growing industry of “knowledge commerce,” as Kajabi calls it; their blog is dedicated to this space.
The role of a social media manager is easy to infer from the title, but which social networks they manage for the company depends on the industry. Above all, social media managers establish a posting schedule for the company's written and visual content. This employee might also work with the content marketing specialist to develop a strategy for which content to post on which social network.
What are their demographics? Their buying habits? What does your typical customer look like? After you know who to target, now you must figure out how to target them. An easy way to do this is to build a lookalike audience on Facebook. This targets users who “look like” your target audience whether it’s age, gender, interests, or other demographics.
Because social media can be (or seem) overwhelming, "choose one social media platform that your customers, prospects, and industry leaders engage with the most -- be it Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+ -- and start building a presence there," Volpe says. "Once you've set up an account, start connecting sharing your original content, joining discussions and engaging with the community. Keep your social efforts frequent, but above all, relevant and helpful to your audience."

Keep in mind though, you don’t need a website to do sponsored content since you can also get paid if you have a lot of social media followers. My wife has a pretty big Instagram following, and she gets all kinds of sponsorships. Not only does she get paid in cash, but we get a lot of free stuff, too. We’ve received free rugs, free lights, and free carpet cleaners. She only promotes things she loves though, so this strategy works really well for her.

Now next, you’ll want to pick a WordPress theme from somewhere like ThemeForest, Elegant Themes or OptimizePress. This is the barebones design of your site, which you can then customize with your own branding, copy, and images. That being said, you don’t want to cheap out. It costs less than $100 to buy a theme that will make your website look professional (and you can upgrade to a completely custom design once you get the business going).
There are loads of people out there who are looking for graphic artists to contract their graphics jobs to. If you are a graphic designer, then you can take your services online. You just have to be proactive and aggressive in marketing your services. One good thing about offering graphics services online is that you can sign a long term business deal with just one clients especially if you are good at what you do.
Hint: To stand out and increase your chances of receiving a response of “yes, we’re interested in your topic”, I recommend brainstorming creative titles. For instance, one of their posts is named as “How To Jazz Up Your Emails With Rich Media (Inspiration From Brands That Are Nailing It)” which perfectly describes my idea of using creativity in your post subject line.

Speaking of the internet, maybe you’re not a social media expert… but you are a pro at SEO, or search engine optimization. If you’ve got loads of skill and experience in getting websites to rank highly on Google (as well as Bing) and understand how to turn searchers into customers, then there are plenty of companies willing to pay handsomely for your help.

21. Facebook – Facebook swap shops are great for selling things locally. It’s like CraigsList, but a little easier. You simply search for swap shops in your area and ask to join the group. Once you’re in, take a picture of the item, write a quick description with the price and post it. It doesn’t get much easier than that. You can generally expect to get about what you would get at a yard sale, maybe a little more.
Econsultancy gives us up-to-the-minute news and insights on the biggest brands out there. We get to see digital marketing in action, by some of the world’s best known brands. As an added perk, Econsultancy offers up a vast selection of the most important digital marketing statistics —  perfect for backing up any hunches we may have about what’s next in the e-commerce and retail space.
If you're a person who loves leaving customer reviews on sites like Amazon, stop doing it for free. Word-of-mouth advertising is still a huge lead generator for many companies, and a lot of businesses are willing to share a portion of their profits with persuasive individuals who will promote their products to the public. If you have a personal website with a large following, this might be easier to accomplish (PR reps are always seeking out brand advocates they can send free samples to). Smart Passive Income breaks down three types of affiliate marketing and explains which one is most profitable.
Not only will this multiply the money you’re bringing in in a serious way, but it protects you against any sudden changes in the market or in your business. Remember that old saying about putting all your eggs in one basket? A few hours a week committed to just one or two of the following opportunities will put you in a much stronger position to be financially safe and independent.
No matter whether you cater to B2B or B2C, one thing is a fact: Your prospects go online when they have problems to solve. Don’t be afraid to help them solve those problems ... in fact, get in the habit of providing significant value to prospects before making a cent. This builds the trust you need to position your business for later sales, especially if you have tough competition.

The Spin Sucks blog covers digital marketing and PR from a perspective of keeping marketing ethical—steering marketers away from the “spin doctor” label. The blog doesn’t stick exclusively to digital marketing topics, but gets into networking tips and productivity advice alongside posts on SEO and UX. Basically, if it’s valuable to marketers then it’s fair game for the Spin Sucks blog.

A pop-up on your website allows you to collect information such as email addresses, from people who visit your site. Due to the higher levels of risk, long-lasting entrepreneurs are also frugal. Despite popular culture telling us that entrepreneurs are popping champagne and cruising on expensive yachts, most business owners are savers, not spenders. This was highlighted by the research of Dr. Thomas Stanley and published in The Millionaire Next Door (1996), which found that most millionaires in this country are owners of small businesses (not lawyers, doctors, or bankers) and they are habitual savers. 81% of them purchase their vehicles instead of leasing, and 90% of those who do purchase spent less than $45,000. The book may need updating, but it shows the ever-important need for frugal living as an entrepreneur.

Heidi Cohen is the president of Riverside Marketing Strategies and founded her popular marketing blog, Heidi Cohen’s Actionable Marketing Guide. The quote above comes from her article, Internal Content Curation: What Most Marketers Miss. Cohen recommends performing internal content curation to save on content creation costs and build your audience for each piece of content. You can extend the use of your existing content by re-promoting it (via social media or other channels) or re-using it by adapting it into different formats that can be shared on different platforms.
This is similar in concept to micro-tasks, except that it is oriented toward specific services, such as cleaning services, pest inspection, handyman services, house cleaning, lawn & garden services or any of the skilled trades. It might actually be more accurate to say that it is a platform where skilled service providers can offer their services to site visitors, similar to Angie’s List.

Out of all the online marketing tips we could possibly give you, remarketing is one of the most important. This tactic targets potential customers who have visited your site but maybe didn’t make a purchase. With remarketing, your ads will appear on other sites that those potential customers visit making it so your brand name is in front of their eyes even though they’re not on your website. Thus reminding them of your products and services over and over again, which encourages them to return to your site and make the purchase they didn’t make earlier

Working hard is important, and you might not have the chance to rest every day when you first start out, but it is important to know when you are overworked. Many people who buy from youth businesses do so because of the youthful component of what they do, a component built on energy and a fascination with everything they are learning. That energy and fascination can burn out very quickly if you are not well rested and ready to go. This is not to say that you should slack off, but that you should know when you are at a limit and celebrate progress when it occurs.
Here’s a good example of how lead sales can work in real life: My second website, Life Insurance by Jeff, brings in a ton of traffic from people who are searching the web to find answers to life insurance questions. While I used to have the website set up so I could sell these people life insurance myself, it was a lot of work to process all the different requests and clients. As a result, I started selling the leads I gathered instead.
Use Google Trends to look at trending stories in your niche, after you find the trending articles take a look at the headlines that are trending. Study the headlines of trending articles and before you write your content this will give you an idea of what people are interested in. (Don’t steal headlines, but use them as a brainstorming tool for great content)
Consider selling in lots. A lot is a collection of similar items that is sold in a group. For example, if you have a collection of books, magazines or similar pieces of jewelry, consider selling them all at once in a lot. You many not make as much money as you would have if you sold each item separately. However, the items will likely sell more quickly in a lot than they would individually.[29]

For example, Amazon affiliates can potentially rake in obscene amounts of commission dollars if they work at it. Simply sign up as an affiliate to sell a company’s products using your special referral link, and you can get a commission for each product sold without lifting a finger. Commission ranges from product to product and also goes up in stages according to how many products sales your clicks generate. The top commission tier is 8%. That adds up to some serious amounts of cash each month if you’re promoting products with that high rate of commission ( Home & Garden is one such product area with high commissions).

Backlinks can make a huge difference for your website’s SEO. A backlink is when another website links to a page on your site. When you get a backlink from a site that has a higher domain authority than you do, it sends a signal to Google that your site is credible which can improve your rankings. Think of it like one of your superiors at a previous job writing a recommendation letter for you. That’s how the search engines see it. The more recommendations or backlinks you have, the more likely you are to move up in search rankings!
